Each Madopar 200 mg/50 mg Hard Capsule contains 200 mg levodopa and 50 mg benserazide as the hydrochloride.

Madopar belongs to a group of medicines called antiparkinsonian agents and is used for the treatment of Parkinson’s disease. Antiparkinsonian agents work on the central nervous system. The symptoms of Parkinson’s disease are caused by a deficiency of a natural substance in the brain called dopamine.
